Rounding out the current tally of award recognitions for Minding the Gap to 15 since its world premiere at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, this past week Minding the Gap earned the Documentary Award at CAAMFest as well as the Nigel Moore Award for Youth Programming at the 2018 DOXA Documentary Film Festival!

Previously, the film won the Special Jury Prize for Breakthrough Filmmaking at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, the Best Documentary Feature Award at the Sarasota Film Festival, the Audience Award for Best Documentary Feature and an honorable mention for the Charles E. Guggenheim Emerging Artist Award at the 2018 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival, the Best Editing: Feature Length Documentary Award at the Ashland Independent Film Festival, a Special Mention in the Next:Wave competition at CPH:DOX (the film's international premiere), the Best Feature Documentary Award at the Minneapolis St. Paul Film Festival, the Best Feature Documentary Award at the RiverRun International Film Festival, the Best Director Award: Feature Documentary at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, an Honorable Mention for Best Documentary at the Newport Beach Film Festival and the One in a Million Award at the Sun Valley Film Festival.
