Minding the Gap wins Best Editing: Feature Length Documentary at Ashland

Minding the Gap continues to enjoy a stellar festival run, most recently earning the Best Editing: Feature Length Documentary Award at the Ashland Independent Film Festival this past weekend. Read the festival's official announcement here.

Minding the Gap was edited by Bing Liu and Joshua Altman.

At its world premiere at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, Minding the Gap earned the Special Jury Prize for Breakthrough Filmmaking, followed by a Special Mention at its international premiere at CPH:DOX in the Next:Wave competition. The film earned the One in a Million Award at the Sun Valley Film Festival, and most recently earned the Audience Award for Best Documentary Feature and an honorable mention for the Charles E. Guggenheim Emerging Artist Award at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival.

The film next heads to the Sarasota Film Festival, One Take Film Fest, the San Diego Asian Film Festival Spring Showcase, the CineYouth Festival –– and more!
